lyrics
Thinking in circles (Nick Cody)
She lived here in silence, with love in her heart,
Dreaming of stardom, but no place to start,
She’s staring at mirrors, not rightly in place,
This kind of reflection for hope in this space
This thinking in circles, means feet off the ground,
Her dreams are still rising no clear way yet found,
That college of whispers drowned out her true voice,
Its time for a new start, time for new choice
CHORUS
Trust me you got this, hold on to what’s true
Believe in your own self and in all that you do
There’s cracks in this pavement, there’s cracks in this dream,
Her sisters still gather let out this group scream,
But no-one is listening, no cameras in sight,
No parties round here no dance through the night
CHORUS
Trust me you got this, hold on to what’s true
Believe in your own self and in all that you do
The greatest of heartache, fuels these new songs,
He left without notice just didn’t belong,
Hold fast to your instinct, stick with what’s real
The world is still waiting, for all you’ll reveal
Trust me you got this, hold on to what’s true
Believe in your own self and in all that you do
